My Bio
I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and masters degree in Visualization. By day I'm a game developer (Technical Environment Artist) and by night I'm an Art Tinker. I dabble in everything from computer graphics, digital art, sculpture, stained glass to jewelry making. Sadly there are not enough hours in the day nor years in a lifespan to do all the things I want to do but damn if I can't try! I take commissions on a rare basis and also sell my work on Etsy and at conventions. Feel free to message me or email me at Falconsong@FalconsongStudios.com.

Nice work. We seem to be "birds of a feather" only my thing is wood turning. Just curious. Are the deer made on a 3D printer or carved and casted?

Thank you! Your woodturning is forgeous, especially that Ash wood bowl with the blue resin!

The Dik-dik deer are neither! They're sculpted by hand in Monster Clay and then I made silicone molds and cast them in resin. You can see several of the progress shots in my gallery, like this one:

Hello! I hope you don't mind my posting on your page today! I'd like to invite you to a brand new group; Covid-Con2020. I'd love to make this group a place where vendors and patrons alike, who are missing out on Cons worldwide because of the Covid-19 pandemic, can connect.
Thanks for the watch and favorite on my Korok figure! It means a lot. So nice to find another sculptor here. I love your stained glass too! I'm kind of a one trick pony when it comes to art, haha. I'm not very fast but hopefully I'll make more interesting things eventually!
EDIT: Oh, hi! I see you're on emilySculpts' discord! Nice to find you here too! I'll be seeing you around for sure!
My pleasure! I love your figures, they look awesome! And don't count yourself out by being a "one trick pony". The benefit of specializing is that you can get very good at what you do! Downside of knowning many things is you either don't get very good at any of them or they take a long time (and a lot of resources!) to get any mastery in. Your work looks awesome to me!

Yes, I'm on EmilySculpts discord! Haha. I joined her patreon since she had a lot of good info and i wanted to support that as well as have access to her knowledge. ^_^ It's such a pleasure finding other sculptors and casters to talk to!
Thank you very much! And yes I agree, there are certainly some benefits... I think in order to get really good at something (or at least do the best you can at your current ability) you need good equipment and supplies, which certainly isn't cheap. I can't imagine having to buy everything for digital art, and stained glass, and sculptures too!

It's great how Emily's Patreon is bringing so many artists together. I really started sculpting because of her and the tutorials she put online so it's great to see how we can all inspire each other!
